Jenny has been out of icu for a couple of days now. She had a staff infection that was not responding to antibiotics. They were able to do a skin graph to her colon so that the tissue will hopefully grow and close the tears.
This whole situation has been so hard on jenny. I am worried about her mentally. She still hasn't picked up a mirror or wanted to see anyone. Her anxiety is really bad. John was able to get her in a wheel chair and push her around the hospital for a bit. But he said she was stressed the whole time. She didn't like him talking while pushing her, and I guess was scared people were looking at her. I wish she would let people in. I think it would help her out. She hasn't opened one card, or read one letter. I hurt for her. I know she has been and is going through so much. I can't imagine how she is feeling.
As y'all pray for her physical health, please pray for her mental health. Please pray for her anxiety and that she opens back up to family, friends, and the world again.

Does Jenny know that hundreds of people, that she may or may not know, have donated blood for her? I knew Jenny for only a few months and she always struck me as a very caring and nice young lady. I'm sure with everything going on, it's easy for her to focus on the negative parts and forget that so many people are praying for her and want her to recover. I know she doesn't want to read the emails right now but maybe the family can read them to her. That might help her hear our words and let her know that outside her immediate family, that she has a very large second family.
Everyone deals with pain differently. I hope everyone can respect Jenny's wishes.

I was never friends with Jenny but I knew who she was from school. From what I did know or hear about her, she was always so bubbly and very friendly! I actually saw the accident, not happen but the aftermath of it. When I heard the name of the person involved, I have been checking this blog regularly. I am always wondering how she is doing especially when I pass by the apartments where it happend. I really hope she is doing better every day I know this is hard for her and your entire family. I just wanted to let you guys know, there's many strangers praying for her recovery.
I am sure that she will once she is ready. She woke up and her whole life has changed and I'm sure she has quite a bit to get accustomed to. The ones around her waiting for her to wake had time to adjust. Just give her time and I'm sure she will come through with the love and support of those that love and care for her. All we can do is send our prayers and healing thoughts. And, of course be there for her.

hi to all who reads this!!Iam jens mom she is doing ok shes in room 670 its been a rooler coaster ride but doc is taking good care of her.She has had hoilday from surgery last time she went was friday tomorrow she goes back.They told her it takes time.Today she ask if her freinds could e-mail her your phone# she has nobodys numbers or text her brothers jon or nick.She is reading all her cards n letters as post this it again thank you all for your love &suport debi

You really need to start updating again, not only are we all curious and hope Jenny is doing well. But many of us used to check daily to see any updates, and I am afraid to say you are loosing many followers due to no new posts. We want to keep Jenny in our minds!
